My daughter and I sat in on a Catholic Mass today, because her little friend was in a ceremony saying the Rosary for the first time. "Hail Mary full of grace...)
When it was over I asked my daughter what she thought.
"Well, it was fine Mom, but why did the man in the dress tell the kids to say "Hell Mary"?"
Priceless!
Hey Kelley. That's so cute. I remember saying "our father" at around age 6 or so and wondering why his name was "hollow". (I attended Catholic school in India, with real sisters and all. I remember tring to prove how cool I was by jumping over one of the head sister's poinsetta bushes, which grew large over there, and knocking the top off. I had my hands swatted several times with a ruler for that!)
