Down with Dog Ears!

I love books.

They are my most intimate friends.

I cringe when I see a book that has been dog eared.
It moves me to heal the wound and punsih the criminal.

Some might condem me, for I must admit that I write in the margins.
This is an equal crime to them, but not to me.

It is my way of interacting with the story, and adding my soul to the flavor of the book.

I love to go back and re-read a book that I have "been with" in the past.

I am often amused by stranger I was, in another time and place.

Hi Kelley,

You're probably surprised to hear from someone all the way from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but that's how the internet world connects us especially the blogging world.

Your interest in Body, Mind and Spirit, Ying and Yang etc attracted my attention. I'm from the East but picked up Mormonism from the West and am in the process of blogging my life's experience to perhaps define myself as many would sometimes do in mid-life.

I will be interested to continue to read your blog as I'm interested to know more of what you've read, learnt and lived with respect of the topic of Mind, Body and Spirit connection.

I hope at some point in time to have a dialogue with you but only after I've spent more time soaking up your blog. Until then.....keep writing!

I both dog-ear AND write notes. And highlight. Mostly non-fiction, but I do have one annotated novel.
