Sad but true

1/3 of high school graduates never read another book for the rest of their lives.
42 percent of college graduates never read another book after college.
80 percent of U.S. families did not buy or read a book last year.
70 percent of U.S. adults have not been in a bookstore in the last five years.
57 percent of new books are not read to completion.
70 percent of books published do not earn back their advance.

And only 10% of adults ever go into a library.

But those of us who do have books have a contest going . . . the one with the most books wins. :)

LMAF Baby!

You have just redefined the way I will measure my wealth.

For the rest of my life, I shall no longer count my money, but instead, count the books I have read to measure my wealth.

I hereby dubb Thee, Wise Woman Extrodinare!

Well, in that case I'm a very rich man and my treasure is so great my wife forces me to store most of it in the attic.
